Kiteman Group at Berck-sur-Mer

Kiteman Group had the distinct honor of representing the USA at the 2025 Berck-sur-Mer International Kite Festival, one of the largest and most prestigious kite events in the world. Our team, featuring Kiteman Group owners Brian Keating and John Lutter, alongside expert kite pilots Drayton Callison and Scott Weider, showcased American Sport Kite Innovation to an international audience. Highlights of our participation included thrilling performances with Garber Target Kites (which we printed and built ourselves), Hawaiian Team Kites, Revolution Quad-Line Kites, and our very own Kiteman Inflatable Leading Edge Diamonds. We also joined forces with top Canadian kite pilots to form Team North America, flying the Revolution 1s and leaving a lasting impression with our synchronized kite displays.

Kiteman Group was also responsible for designing the USA Kite Demonstration Team logo, and produced all team logo apparel.

The festival, which attracted over a million spectators, was not only an opportunity to showcase our kites, but also to make history with iconic performances. A standout moment was the participation of Joe Hadzicki, the inventor of the quad-line kite, who joined our team for a historic performance, highlighting the innovation that continues to drive sport kite development. Our final day included a nostalgic “vintage” dual-line megafly with our Hawaiian Team Kites, and a collaboration with Team Coriolis, flying their L’Atelier Avatar kites for the first time. The experience was a true celebration of international camaraderie and kite innovation, solidifying Kiteman Group’s role as a leader in the world of competitive and exhibition kite flying.
